Flexibility Flow is a stretch and flow focused class for all ages and levels.

Twerk is the act of dancing with one's buttocks moving in a circular, up & down & side-to-side motion. You will build on the tilting and tucking that you have learned in your Liquid Motion classes and apply them to some of the core twerk moves you see in popular videos.

Monthly Subscription Coaching Program offers 12 customized 20-25 min workouts (3 a week for 4 weeks) designed to meet your goals in a follow along format, plus 2 of the following per week (your choice) - Magic Whole Body Conditioning/Heels Feels/Flexibility Flow/Yoga-Lates/Cardio Chair/Liquid Motion; PLUS a monthly One-on-One Coaching Call

How Much Do Classes Cost? Individual Classes are $15, and your first class is always free when you sign up for our Newsletter. We also offer packages for different types of classes.

Studio Policies

  • Register 6 hours in advance of class start time; 2 Person minimum for a class to run. If the minimum is not met by 6 hours prior to class start, it will be canceled.

  • Cancel outside of 3 hours prior to retain class credit

  • Payment accepted via PayPal or Credit Card

  • Coaching Program Payment Plan is NOT a subscription, failure to make subsequent payments will disenroll you from the plan and remove access to materials.

  • Subscription Coaching is renewed on a monthly basis. You will receive a questionnaire the first of every month to fill out or schedule your call to help inform your next month’s program.

How does Personal Training work? You will set up an initial assessment and we will talk about your goals, including what equipment you have and if you are planning to workout in the gym or from home, how long you want your workouts to be, and what additional support you need. We will also complete a short postural and movement assessment.

What Should I Bring to Class?

Liquid Motion: Leg warmers are okay, but knee pads are ideal. Arms and legs should be covered with something fitted and that will not stick to the floor, you can wear booty shorts underneath if you like. Layers and socks are recommended. An open heart and an open mind.

Conditioning: Yoga Mat / Blocks. Wear non-restrictive clothing to allow range of motion. Optional: RAD Roller, RAD Rod, Helix, and Block (Ball, dowel, and rolled towel)

Exotic Burn: Heels, knee pads and an open mind!

What should I expect during Liquid Motion class? Your licensed Liquid Motion instructor will use dance theory, natural organic movement, and the Liquid Motion techniques and fundamentals to build a proper foundation for floor work. Students will be led through a 10-15 min full body warm-up involving cardiovascular work, full-body conditioning, and mobility exercises. The bulk of the class will take you through level- appropriate intricate floor flows and across-the-floor drills. The class will end with time for each student to explore their newfound skills, and then a proper cool down and recovery to close out the Liquid Motion experience. 

Can men come to your class? Alter Ego Dance Space is an all-inclusive, gender-neutral environment. It is designed for everybody.

Do I have to be on video? For your safety, you must be visible for live classes. Please remember, this is a supportive environment and allowing others to celebrate your successes with you will enrich your experience and theirs. No shaming of any kind will be tolerated. If there is any intent to use your image, you will be asked to expressly give consent.

Is this class for me? Liquid Motion, Flex Flow, Magic and Heels Feels are for everyone. Exotic Burn is all levels, but geared to be more sexual in nature, so be warned. Your instructor is trained to be able to quickly modify any move or skill to be more challenging or easier depending on each individual’s needs. We offer more than just a dance or exercise class. Time and time again our students tell us that sensual movement changed their life by giving them the confidence and understanding of their body to create a better quality of life. 

What should I expect during a Conditioning class?

Magic - We will Floss the nerves, warm the muscles and do some body weight conditioning. We will then cool down, do a little RAD Recovery, then settle in for a short meditation. You may want to have a pillow or blanket handy to aid with comfort during our final meditation. This class will focus on conditioning the core muscles needed for pole/floor dance and functional movement. This class will lend itself well to the playback option if you can’t make the class live.
Flexibility Flow - We will begin class with nerve flosses, then warm the body and continue through a variety of movement sequences, at whatever level you are at. The class is designed to accommodate all skill and ability levels, so there is no worry about how flexible you are now. You only need the space for your yoga mat and a quiet place to spend an hour. This class is deigned to aid in mobility, flexibility and general well-being.
Heels Feels - Feel like a baby deer? Think you are pointing your toes and then see your video? Looking at your feet while you walk? Crawl instead of walk to get from point A to B? We need to CONFIDENTLY stand, walk, DANCE, and point our toes in our heels. This class will focus on conditioning the muscles needed for that control and will lend itself well to the playback option if you can’t make the class live.
Cardio Chair - This is a fun way to get your heart rate up while dancing with and around the chair. There are typically no acrobatic movements in this class. You just need an armless chair.
